Application of our products in Plastics Industry
We are Sanpar
Plastics is a major contributor to many aspects of modern life, from consumer products to industrial applications, It is a diverse and rapidly evolving sector that produces a wide range of products made from synthetic or semi-synthetic materials.
SANPAR have increased interest in providing customised thermal solutions for controlling the temperature and viscosity of plastic materials during various stages of processing.
As the demand for compressed air in the plastic industry is expected to continue to grow as the industry strives our products will increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
SANPAR product delivers Energy source, Efficiency, Quality, Safety and Cost-effectiveness.
In which plastic category our products are used?
Both, commodity plastics and engineering plastics involves Injection Moulding, Extrusion, Thermoforming, Blow Moulding in which dry compressed air drives the entire process.
- Commodity plastics - Commodity plastics also known as standard plastics, are widely used in everyday products such as packaging, toys, and household items. These plastics are relatively inexpensive, easy to process, and have good chemical resistance. Some examples of commodity plastics include polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
- Engineering plastics -On the other hand, are higher-performance plastics that are designed for specific applications where high strength, temperature resistance, and chemical resistance are required. These plastics are more expensive than commodity plastics and are used in applications such as automotive parts, electrical and electronic components, and medical devices. Some examples of engineering plastics include acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC), polyamide (PA), and polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
Application of Dry compressed air in Plastics Industry
- Injection Moulding -Ejecting the part, Cooling the mold, operating pneumatic valves, Cleaning the mold, Blowing out air vents.
- Blow Moulding -Blowing the parison (a small tube of molten plastic), Cooling the mold, Operating pneumatic valves, Ejecting the part, Cleaning the mold.
- Drying of plastic films, pallets & fibre's -Blowing off debris, Drying the pallets, Removing water from crevices(crevices may be present in pallets or molds, and they can trap moisture or debris. Compressed air can be used to remove any moisture or debris from these crevices, ensuring that the surface is clean and dry), Preparing pallets for storage.
- Packing-Blowing out containers, filling containers, sealing containers, Labelling containers.
