Today’s small and compact, multi-function electronic controls, variable speed drives, servos and programmable logic controllers (PLC) are extremely sensitive to heat and contamination.

Smaller cabinet sizes make temperature control difficult and contribute to significant premature failures. Excessive heat causes components to cook, digital displays to misread, controls to drift, and breakers to trip below their rated loads. The result is often lost productivity from machine or line shutdown. And fans often provide inadequate cooling and commonly pull in dirty, humid air creating another source of failure.

Our Xerion series of dehumidifiers works in accordance with the condensation principal. A fan draws the humid air into the dehumidifier and through an evaporator coil. While passing through an evaporator the air is cooled down to below its dew point temperature, and its content of water vapour is condensed into water, which is collected in the drain tray. The cooled air is then further sensibly heated in order to reduce the Relative Humdity and carrying capacity of Air to reatin the Water.
