How It Works
The moisture content in compressed air is removed by means of a refrigerated air dryer. The SANPAR Xeros Series combines an open loop air cycle and a closed loop refrigerant cycle. The air is cooled to very low temperatures, allowing the moisture content to condense. The condensed water is then removed from the air line, rendering air free from moisture.
The Xeros series is manufactured with air-cooled and water-cooled condensers, catering to a wide range of air flows — from 200 CFM to over 6,000 CFM at a design pressure of 7 bar g. These dryers use eco-friendly refrigerants (R407C and R134A) and employ state-of-the-art microcontrollers.
SANPAR manufactures water-cooled refrigerant compressed air dryers specifically designed for use in tropical countries where ambient temperatures range up to 45–50°C.

Success Story
Hindustan Motors, Calcutta
In 1997, SANPAR conducted a case study at Hindustan Motors and found the plant was equipped with a centralised desiccant dryer with 25% purge losses. SANPAR suggested replacing it with a refrigerated dryer — an energy-efficient solution with no purge losses — and arresting all leaks in the pneumatic lines.
